Letizia Vella’s culinary career began early, shaped by her family’s love and respect for quality and tradition. After studying at Malta’s Culinary Institute, she continued to develop her creativity through demanding professional experiences.

Her path included an internship under Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck, followed by Dinner by Heston as Chef de Partie. She later worked in refined restaurants in Malta before opening her own restaurant, The Golden Fork, in 2019. The restaurant received Michelin recognition in less than six months, with Malta’s first Michelin Guide, while Vella was also selected as a judge for the first edition of MasterChef Malta.
