Diego Guerrero, born in Vitoria in 1975, decided to pursue a career in culinary arts at the age of 18, seeking a language of his own and a personal form of expression. This desire to communicate through food eventually led him, after more than 30 years in gastronomy, to the creation of DSTAgE in Madrid, his most personal project. Since opening in 2014, DSTAgE has embodied his commitment to creative freedom and to a cuisine with a strong, distinctive identity, free from clichés and conventional protocols.

DSTAgE currently holds two MICHELIN Stars, the first awarded just four months after opening, and was also honoured with a MICHELIN Green Star in the 2025 edition. The restaurant has received three Soles from the Repsol Guide, while Diego Guerrero has consistently ranked among the Top 100 of The Best Chef Awards. In 2024, he received the highest rating of three knives, and in the most recent edition he was awarded The Best Science Award 2025, recognising his innovation and the application of science in gastronomy.

His cuisine is defined by creative freedom, technical precision and an unconventional approach to the gastronomic experience. Through DSTAgE, as well as projects such as DSPOT STUDIO and DHOUSE, Guerrero treats gastronomy as a field of research, expression and sustainable evolution. At Noble Gastro Projects 2026 — Roots & Routes, he brings to Rhodes an international voice that connects creativity, science and personal journey with contemporary haute cuisine.
