Dimitris Chronopoulos is one of Greece’s leading pastry chefs, with a long career in pastry, consulting and professional education.
He graduated from the School of Tourism Professions in 1992 and was awarded the title of Best Pastry Chef in Greece for 2005–2006. He has worked as both pastry chef and pastry chef consultant in restaurants, pastry shops and hotels in Greece, Cyprus and abroad, including Michelin-starred restaurants.
Since 2007, he has collaborated with Valrhona as a chocolate technical consultant in Greece. From 2010, his role expanded to Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Alongside this work, he has been active as a consultant in the wider pastry sector, focusing on the organisation of pastry operations, the development of tailor-made recipes and the promotion of ingredients through presentations, seminars and creative applications.
At Noble Gastro Projects 2026, his presence opens this year’s Roots & Routes journey through the language of pastry, technical precision and chocolate.
